Send Aidan Moir to Disney, Florida!
Aidan is 5 years old and has been diagnosed with the terminal illness “Late Infantile Batten’s Disease” with a life expectancy of 8 to 10 years. The Illness attacks the muscles leading to his brain causing the brain to shut down, this will cause Aidan to lose his ability to walk with the little speech he has developed deteriorating until lost. Finally, the disease will cause blindness and during the final stages of Aidan’s life he will be bedridden.
Aidan’s family and friends are running the Great Scottish Run on the 2nd September 2007 to help send Aidan Moir to Disneyland, Florida later this year before his eyesight is taken from him.
